Committees
In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.

Election Committee Coordinate Elections on a timely basis.
Food Bank Back Packers Coordinate with Mid-South Food Bank on dates for service project of stuffing backpacks. Coordinate volunteers from club and Key Clubs.
Golf Tournament Committee coordinates annual golf tournament
Goodwill Send Cards for birthdays, celebrations, illnesses or deaths of members
House/University Club Liason Coordinate with the University Clubs any issues, changes or problems with the University Club
Invocation Find members to give weekly Invocation
Key Clubs
Kiwanis Charities, Inc. Board Members 2017-18 Members appointed to the Kiwanis Charities, Inc. Board 2017-18
Law Enforcement and Fire Fighter of the Year Awards Contact law enforcement and fire fighter as to who will receive these awards. Find out the number of guests that will be attending the meeting.
Media Relations Maintain contact with media sources to promote events of the club.
Membership Committee Bring in New Members
Orientation Hold orientation meetings on a quarterly basis to inform new members about the club
Pancake Breakfast Annual Fundraiser
Program Lines up speakers/programs for each week.
Reception/Greeters Coordinate other members to greet Kiwanis members as they enter the meetings.
Resolutions Committee Compiling a resolution at the death or in celebration of Kiwanis members
Resource File Maintenance Committee Assemble files from each committees for a binder that will contain necessary information from each committee so that the following year president, officers and committee chairs will be informed.
Retention A committee to keep members active and involved to reduce resignations.
Song Leaders Lead club in weekly song
Telephone Committee Committee to make phone calls to solicit members to attend specific programs and service projects
U. S. Navy Birthday Celebration Committee October 13th is the birthday of the Navy. Set up a program as close to the date as possible to honor the Navy by inviting military personnel to attend a luncheon honoring them.
